HIKING AND CYCLING ROUTES

Known for good routes for both hiking and cycling. The Bække area is known for the Hærvejen and the Coast to Coast path, with their beautiful surroundings and Denmark's history. Hiking and cycling makes Bække -Agnes B&B - an obvious option for  accommodation. Bække has a Supermarket and Pizza Take away.

Bække Playground

Lake and fontane. Walk 800 meters and find a pleasant facility with a large playground for the children and lots of lovely nature as well as a picnic hut and lake.

KLEBÆK HØJE, BÆKKE monument - See three historical periods in the same place.

Klebæk Høje consists of two domed burial mounds from the Bronze Age, a 45 m long shipwreck and a rune stone from the Viking Age, and across the monument runs a carriage track from the Middle Ages, which represents a small part of the old Hærvej.

There is a nice little tourist office in Bække, where you can find a lot of good information about the area and the history of Hærvejen.
